2021 Cancellation FAQs
Royal Windsor Triathlon 2022 - 12 June 2022
We are offering all Royal Windsor 2021 triathletes FREE deferral to the 2022 event. We don’t need you to take any action to take this option. After the 30th April our team will transfer all your details across to the event next year. If you don’t want to take part next year you need to choose one of the options below before this time.
During May you will receive an email confirming the transfer to 2022 has been completed.
This will have to be done manually once we have confirmed your entry for 2022 (you will receive an email to let you know the transfer has been completed in May). Log in to your account and follow the instructions to amend your entry. You will have to pay the difference and any refunds will be subject to an admin fee.
If you want to change your distance you will need to action this by the end of August 2021.
If you are unable to attend Royal Windsor Triathlon 2022 then in light of the extraordinary circumstances, as per our terms and conditions in our contract we will be offering refunds minus a small £5 admin fee. Please note your original booking fee charged by Active is non-refundable, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. The average booking fee cost was around £5 per person, plus the admin fee = an average of £10 per person.
The £5 fee covers some, but ultimately not all of, a fee charged to us to refund, some unrecoverable event costs and staff time.

As this is a manual process we will need to be notified about your refund by Sunday 30th April 2021.
We aim to have everyone’s refunds with them by the end of May.
We would also like to give you the opportunity to do a triathlon in 2021, with a transfer to one of our Dorney Lake Triathlons, which are taking part at a closed venue and controlled environment.

You can make an event transfer by accessing your registration account, follow this link or copy and paste it into your browser https://mydashboard.timeto.com/. Once logged in, scroll to find the Windsor Triathlon event and select ‘Change Event’. Once again you will need to complete this by the end of April 2021, and you will be refunded any difference in price (excluding 3rd party booking fee) by the end of May 2021.
If you had taken a charity entry, or had chosen to fundraise for Macmillan, please follow the above guidelines for next steps of your entry. Macmillan will be in touch with more information for their fundraisers who have confirmed they are taking part in 2022 in due course.
All bike hires are managed by our partner British Bike Hire. Please contact them directly at info@britishbikehire.co.uk to enquire about the options available to you.
Any packages you purchased for Royal Windsor Triathlon, will be rolled over to the new 2022 event. If you want to be refunded, each part of your bundle has a different process, see below for the process for each item.
You can either carry this over to 2022 which will be done automatically or you will receive a full refund for the entirety of your package including merchandise and entry.
AWOL Adventure are third party photography platform. AWOL Adventure will be contacting customers who have purchased a photo bundle directly on next steps.

Your iTAB medal personalisation will be transferable to the rescheduled event, any other event run by us or any other event worldwide. For further information contact info@mysportingtimes.com.
Sadly, any bookings for services not listed as part of the event are not covered by our refunds policy. You will have to investigate what options are available directly with that service provider.
If you have purchased Registration Protection from Booking Protect during your registration for the Royal Windsor Triathlon you are able to claim back a refund if your circumstances are covered.
