DETAILS ANNOUNCED: What to look forward to at Windsor’s 30th edition

With the 30th edition of the Royal Windsor Triathlon only a few weeks away, it’s time to reveal a few of things we have planned for the big day to celebrate reaching this landmark.

The athlete’s six pack  🍻

For the second Royal Windsor Triathlon running, Windsor And Eton Brewery will be supplying beer at the event and will be opening the doors to their brewery just across the road. They’re so close in fact it would take longer to walk across transition than to get to the brewery!

The motto of Windsor and Eton Brewery is ‘making beer the biggest attraction in Windsor’. They have recently created a glorious beer to celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Queen is a great supporter of the Commonwealth, so the recipe includes barley grown at the Royal Farm in Windsor and a selection of world hops including Pacific Jade from New Zealand. As a finishing touch we are using champagne yeast to create a beer that’s platinum pale in colour and refreshing in taste. A truly royal concoction.

If you were hoping to give the booze a miss on this summer Sunday morning, our friends over at ERDINGER Alkoholfrei will be supplying their delicious alcohol-free beer to all finishers as they cross the line.

All the fun of the fair 🥥

With summer fast approaching, what could be more British than a funfair. We’ll have a range of games on offer on event day including a coconut stall, a wheel of fortune and strengthometer – perfect for anyone still looking for a post-race challenge.

There will be loads of prizes on offer too including discounted entry into next year, Official Royal Windsor Triathlon merchandise and plenty of rewards from our wonderful partners.

Easy there tiger  🏌️

Alexandra Gardens, the home the of our festival of fun, plays host to one of the most devilish minigolf course anywhere in the world. The course will be opening extra early for anyone attending the triathlon so when racing, remember to save some upper-body energy for that birdy putt on the 9th!

Some great grub  🍔

There are a wide range of choice for places to eat in Windsor. We’ve collected some of our favourites and given them free roam in this event village. For tea, coffee and fantastically healthy vegan food swing by Oatopia. For something a bit more filling and indulgent, there will be burgers, pizza, ice creams, milkshakes and smoothies available from the perfectly alliterative Betty’s Burgers and Shelly’s Shakes.
